Job summary

Harvard Medical School is seeking a Flow Cytometry Operator to join the Flow Cytometry Core Facility. You will operate flow cytometers, assist with experimental design, and perform cell sorting for researchers across multiple departments.

The role requires a basic biology background, 1–2 years in flow cytometry or related analysis, and familiarity with FlowJo or FACSDiva. It is a full-time, on-site position with two-year-term potential and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Life Sciences or related field.
• 1–2 years of related experience, preferably in flow cytometry or related analysis.
• Experience with data analysis software such as FlowJo or FACSDiva preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and QC flow cytometers and cell sorters.
• Perform cell sorting services and assist researchers with experimental design.
• Contribute to general admin duties required for core facility operations.
