Job summary

RTX is seeking a Test Equipment cybersecurity specialist in the US to guide engineering on cybersecurity for production and procurement of TE. You will support flight test capabilities, develop cybersecurity compliant TE across Linux, iOS, and Windows, and automate patch management using Ansible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum of eight (5) years of relevant experience OR an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience.
• Minimum three (3) years of Linux systems administration experience specifically RHEL and/or CentOS
• Experience administering Red Hat Satellite (or Red Hat Satellite/Katello equivalent) for patching, provisioning, and content lifecycle management
• Package management (yum/dnf, apt) and repository management
• Experience with user account management, software installation and or technical customer support
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date

Responsibilities

• Provide Cybersecurity compliance guidance to engineering for production and procurement of TE
• Support Flight Test capabilities and processes for Raytheon test systems
• Develop Cybersecurity Compliant TE (Linux, IOS, Windows)
• Install software packages/updates to enhance operations and testing of production hardware
• Troubleshoot production and development TE to ensure connectivity, functionality, compliance, and test integrity
• Collaborate with Digital Technologies to integrate TE into controlled networks or enterprises
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity to ensure TE compliance (using Nessus, Splunk, Ivanti, and locally procured software
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure changes do not affect the availability or test integrity on the TE
• Support all reviews required prior for implementation of any changes to the TE
• Contribute to automation of patch management and routine configuration tasks using configuration management tooling (e.g., Ansible)
