Job summary

Dropzone AI, a fully remote cybersecurity startup, is seeking its first Technical Account Manager to bridge our technical product and a growing customer base. You’ll guide customers through SOC integrations, assist in troubleshooting alerts, and help maximize value from Dropzone.

You’ll own customer communications, analyze issues with engineering, and document outcomes. The role carries nominal contract renewal responsibility and offers base pay USD 148k–170k plus 10k–15k variable pay with

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in a customer-facing technical role (TAM, security analyst, SE, or CS engineer) ideally in cybersecurity or enterprise software.
• Strong understanding of SOC environments, tools, and workflows.
• Comfortable explaining and troubleshooting SIEM and SOAR integrations and incident workflows.
• Technical proficiency in writing SQL queries to extract and analyze data.
• Experience with APIs or integration tools.
• Excellent organizational and multi-account management skills.
• Clear professional communication for emails, docs, and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor for customers using Dropzone.
• Guide customers through integrations and successful deployments per documentation and best practices.
• Analyze and explain alerts to help customers tune the system.
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain meticulous records and draft status updates and action items.
• Support renewal conversations with technical insights alongside Customer Success.
