Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer/ISSE to lead Accreditation and Authorization (A&A) activities for RMF-based security programs.

You will document SSPs/CONOPS, gather artifacts, and coordinate with system owners and engineers to ensure Authority to Operate (ATO) readiness. You will monitor A&A projects, perform technical content reviews, and contribute to audit readiness, policy alignment, and continuous improvement of security controls

Qualifications

Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree + 10 years
DoD Manual 8570.01-M IASAE Level II
TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain a Polygraph
Location: On Customer Site

Responsibilities

Lead Accreditation and Authorization (A&A) reviews with ISSMs and SCAs
Document security control implementations and RMF artifacts
Write SSPs, CONOPs, CPs, GUGs, PUGs, SOPs
Record POA&Ms and mitigation evidence from system owners and engineers
Coordinate with contractors and customers to achieve ATD, IATT, and ATO
Support audit liaison activities and compliance oversight for RMF
Perform technical content reviews and updates for ISCM and OA strategy
