Job summary

GDIT is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to maintain the operational security posture for an information system, working closely with the ISSM and ISO on day-to-day security operations.

The role includes preparing authorization packages, monitoring security controls, incident handling, and coordinating changes with the ISSM/AO. TS/SCI with polygraph eligibility and 2+ years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of information security principles and management practices.
• Experience with systems security, risk assessment, and incident handling.
• Familiarity with authorization packages and security accreditation processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist the ISSM in meeting duties and responsibilities.
• Prepare, review, and update authorization packages.
• Ensure procedures for clearing, sanitizing, and destroying hardware/media are in place.
