Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; eight years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Experience designing and maintaining enterprise cybersecurity systems and infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and higher education security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Hybrid role with on-site presence as needed and remote work flexibility.
• Plan, implement, and maintain security measures, controls, and platforms.
• Operate and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR, DLP, and vulnerability tools.
• Lead incident response activities and mitigate security risks.
• Develop IAM services including SSO, MFA, and privileged access management.
• Design secure architectures, cloud security, PKI, and zero trust implementations.
• Support regulatory compliance (HIPAA, FERPA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, NIST 800-171).
• Collaborate with security operations, network, and research teams; document runbooks.
