Job summary

SAIC is seeking a cybersecurity systems administrator to support the Space Systems Command in Colorado Springs. You will manage desktop, mobile, and network security, perform vulnerability scans, and implement security policies across systems.

The role requires strong Linux expertise, experience with security tools (Trellix, HBSS, ACAS, SolarWinds), and active TS/SCI clearance. You will document procedures and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet mission objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 14+ years experience, master's with 12+ years; experience may substitute education.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with SCI eligibility; able to obtain TS/SCI within 3 months.
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent for DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 compliance.
• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience; experience building hardened solutions.
• Strong Linux experience; familiarity with Windows configuration.
• Experience with SCAPs, STIGs, ACAS, Nessus and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth technical scans on hardware, OS, and software to identify vulnerabilities.
• Configure Linux and Windows systems to mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Serve as primary ISSO for a TS/SCI program in Colorado Springs across multiple sites.
• Install, configure, and maintain Trellix, HBSS, ACAS, and SolarWinds tools.
• Create a hardened ecosystem and document all technical materials thoroughly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve mission objectives.
