HX5, LLC is seeking a System Cybersecurity Engineer (Senior) at Petersen Space Force Base in Colorado Springs to lead full-lifecycle cybersecurity integration. You will work at the intersection of system engineering and cybersecurity, ensuring secure and compliant missions while coordinating with ISSMs and the program team.

The role requires extensive DoD experience, RMF/IAT/IAM certifications, and strong risk management with demonstrated ability to streamline RMF workflows and support C/J

Qualifications

• 15 years direct cyber experience with DoD requirements
• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years in technical discipline, 5+ in DoD
• Master's degree with 10+ years in discipline, 5+ in DoD
• DoD 8140.03 / 8570.01 baseline certs for IAT III or IAM II/III
• GIAC/CISSP/CISM/CISA certifications pursued or held

Responsabilités

• Perform risk assessment and vulnerability management across the system landscape
• Implement and maintain robust defensive cyber controls
• Monitor and respond to incidents to minimize impact
• Provide cyber security training and awareness for staff
• Ensure compliance with RMF and DISA requirements
• Manage third-party risk for vendors/partners
• Review PPSM data and ensure boundary controls meet CAL requirements
• Improve RMF lifecycle workflows within Agile Kanban processes
• Evaluate ECPs at ERB and perform early Security Impact Analysis
