Job summary

Capital Group is seeking a Business Information Security Principal to advance our Global Information Security strategy in North America. You will lead security uplift programs, oversee incident management, and collaborate with business groups to embed risk-aware practices.

You will align security priorities with business objectives, translate complex concepts for stakeholders, and manage competing priorities in a dynamic financial technology environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in law, business, technology, or related field.
• Security certifications such as CISSP are a plus.
• At least 10 years of experience in cyber security.
• Experience in financial or technology sectors with collaboration to implement security policies.
• Knowledge of data protection, encryption, and access management technologies.
• Experience working with cross-functional tech teams on privacy controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate major cybersecurity uplift programs.
• Provide first-line leadership in cyber incident management.
• Partner with stakeholders to embed risk-aware security practices.
