Job summary

Lafayette Group seeks an experienced Project Action Officer – Sr. Associate to act as the operational coordinator across a large cybersecurity organization and serve as the central integration point for branch activities.

You will support executive reporting, task management, and policy drafting while collaborating with senior leaders and stakeholders. The role emphasizes strategic thinking, proactive problem solving, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting federal operations, executive administration, program management, cybersecurity, or mission support.
• Experience coordinating correspondence for leaders.
• Excellent research, data gathering, analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, and listening skills.
• Able to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis of inputs and consolidate into reports and recommendations for senior government clients; provide status updates and leadership dashboards.
• Develop data collection and analysis methodologies and tools for assigned tasks.
• Analyze and track taskers, projects, data calls, and executive actions; route to appropriate branches and drive progress to completion.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, optimize workflows, and boost operational efficiency.
• Draft, review, and edit policies and high-level/technical memos.
• Coordinate branch meetings, leadership engagements, and stakeholder sessions.
• Develop briefing materials, agendas, action items, and meeting summaries.
• Provide onsite logistical and notetaking support for meetings.
• Maintain leadership calendars and coordinate travel for conferences and meetings.
