Job summary

The Boeing Company in Herndon, VA is seeking a Cybersecurity – ISSM to lead security for classified programs and ensure RMF compliance across multiple domains. The role requires a strong IA background, a Tier 5 investigation or Continuous Vetting in the last five years, and IAM Level III certification (CISSP, GSLC, or CISM).

Qualifications

• Tier 5 Investigation completed or Continuous Vetting in last 5 years.
• IAM Level III certification (CISSP, GSLC, or CISM).
• 5+ years IT/cybersecurity experience.
• 3+ years RMF-related security tools experience (NESSUS, ACAS, DISA STIGs, SCAP, Audit Reduction, HBSS).
• 3+ years cybersecurity leadership overseeing programs and teams.
• 3+ years communicating complex technical risks to senior leaders.
• Experience with RMF policies such as DAAPM, CNSSI 1253, ICD-503, JSIG, or NIST SP 800.
• Willingness to travel 10–20%.

Responsibilities

• Oversees development and deployment of program information security across multiple locations.
• Manages team to execute RMF effectively.
• Provides guidance and coaching within Information Security.
• Manages security compliance continuous monitoring.
• Oversees security assessments and audits.
• Prepares, reviews, and presents technical reports and briefings.
• Identifies root causes, prioritizes threats and implements actions.
• Keeps abreast of evolving information security practices.
• Leads development of enterprise-wide security policies and standards across stakeholders.
