Job summary

D-Wave Quantum Inc. is seeking a Staff Cybersecurity Analyst to strengthen enterprise security across 24/7 threat detection, incident response, and risk management. You will work with multiple teams to enhance security posture and promote security awareness across the organization.

The role is open to Canada or the USA with flexible Remote, Hybrid, or Onsite arrangements, reporting to the VP of Enterprise Security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or information technology, or equivalent experience required.
• Industry security certifications preferred, but not required.
• 7+ years of hands-on cyber security experience, global responsibility preferred.
• Deep understanding and operation of Microsoft 365 security stack to secure an enterprise.
• Experience leading incident response teams during technical responses.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise-wide detection and response capabilities using SIEM, XRD, and Threat Intelligence platforms.
• Develop and enhance threat detection rules through scripting and platform configuration.
• Evaluate and enhance IAM platform security posture.
• Evaluate and enhance endpoint security posture in collaboration with end-user support.
• Conduct risk evaluations of applications and SaaS providers.
• Evaluate and enhance Data Loss Prevention (DLP) capabilities.
• Improve network security posture with technology teams.
• Elevate cloud security posture through collaboration with technology teams.
• Lead or support incident response activations for cyber events.
• Deliver employee security awareness training to uplift security posture.
