Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or information technology, or equivalent experience required.
• 7+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, global responsibility preferred.
• Deep understanding and hands-on operation of Microsoft 365 security capabilities.
• Experience leading incident response teams during technical responses.
• Experience using SIEM to monitor and respond to incidents.
• Experience conducting security education for staff as needed.
• Experience evaluating applications and SaaS risks with compensating controls.
• Defensive security mindset and proactive risk management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide detection and response capabilities using SIEM, XRD, and threat intel.
• Create and enhance threat detection rules via scripting and config changes.
• Assess and strengthen identity and access management security posture.
• Improve endpoint security through collaboration with end-user support.
• Perform risk evaluations of applications and SaaS providers.
• Evaluate and enhance Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and network security posture.
• Collaborate with technology teams to bolster cloud security.
• Lead or support incident response activations for cyber events.
• Provide security awareness training to employees to raise the security posture.
