Job summary

Maximus seeks a senior cybersecurity leader to drive governance and risk management across the enterprise. The role requires extensive experience in NIST RMF, 800-53, and operational security.

You will oversee SIEM operations (Splunk), manage vulnerability programs (Nessus), and ensure cloud security for Azure/AWS. Strong communication with senior leadership and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• CISM, CISSP, or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Build or mature a formal cybersecurity governance program.
• Oversee SIEM operations (Splunk preferred).
• Manage vulnerability management tools (Nessus or similar).
• Ensure cloud security management (Azure, AWS, or similar).
• Handle controlled/sensitive data (CUI or equivalent).
• Obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Present security posture to senior leadership and clients.
