Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. seeks a Senior-Level Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team and work on-site at NSWC Dahlgren, Virginia.

The role demands extensive DoD cybersecurity expertise, security engineering in Navy environments, and leadership in risk assessments and policy development. Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required, along with DoD IA policy knowledge and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Five years of program-specific security engineering or ten years general security engineering experience.
• IAT Level II or higher per DoD 8570.01, with OS/CE training where applicable.
• Ability to communicate cybersecurity concepts clearly in writing and speech.

Responsibilities

• Develop cybersecurity requirements, standards, and guidance for combat systems.
• Lead groups to formulate cybersecurity strategies against evolving threats.
• Create risk assessments and mitigation plans for combat systems.
• Document requirements, gap/threat analyses, and MBSE-based cybersecurity analyses.
