Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to lead cybersecurity activities within its Block Storage portfolio. This role combines software development with security‑driven design and compliance, driving new product features while ensuring industry standard alignment.

You will mentor teammates, influence leadership, and advance security across multi‑platform solutions. The role is hybrid, with in‑office presence two days weekly in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Typically 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering and software development.
• Strong background in cybersecurity technologies, standards, and compliance.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at Management levels.

Responsibilities

• Specify and implement cybersecurity architecture, design, and solutions across Block Storage products.
• Develop software features and capabilities per roadmap and compliance needs.
• Participate in cybersecurity certification and compliance activities and remediation.
• Evaluate, recommend, and integrate new cybersecurity technologies.
• Mentor and guide team members in cybersecurity best practices.
• Provide solutions that enhance defense in depth and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Influence management decisions with cybersecurity domain expertise.
