Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in the United States is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to lead cybersecurity engineering across the Block Storage portfolio.

You will drive architecture, software development, and certification activities, mentor staff, and influence management with secure-by-design solutions.

Strong background in standards such as NIST and experience with cross-functional teams is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
• Typically 10+ years of cybersecurity engineering and software development experience.
• Strong background in cybersecurity technologies, standards, and compliance.
• Excellent communication with management.

Responsibilities

• Specify and implement cybersecurity architecture, design, and solutions across Block Storage products.
• Develop software features and capabilities per product roadmap and compliance needs.
• Participate in cybersecurity certification and compliance activities and develop product solutions and remediations to secure those certifications.
• Evaluate, recommend, and integrate new cybersecurity technologies as may be required for technology roadmap and business priority purposes.
• Mentor and guide less experienced team members, fostering a culture of cybersecurity innovation, best practices, and professional growth.
• Provide solutions that enhance defense in depth and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Contribute to cybersecurity domain expertise and influence Management decision-making.
