Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, Identity and Automation, to design and implement secure gateway integrations and identity solutions across enterprise applications. You will own configuration, release planning, and partnerships with vendors, while enforcing least-privilege access and robust authentication controls.

The role emphasizes hands-on Terraform, PowerShell, and REST API automation, with a focus on reliability, incident response, and cross-team

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in cybersecurity, identity or cloud security engineering.
• Hands-on IAM, authentication and authorization in cloud environments.
• Proficient in OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML and MFA.
• Experience with cloud identity platforms and API-based integrations.
• Strong scripting or IaC experience with automation tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver secure gateway and MCP integrations and manage releases.
• Engineer IaC configurations for gateway policies and onboarding.
• Enforce least-privilege access for workloads and AI agents.
• Implement secure identity integrations across applications and clouds.
• Develop PowerShell and REST API automation; troubleshoot authentication flows.
• Ensure service reliability through telemetry, monitoring and runbooks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and provide design reviews and handoffs.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to identity engineering and incident response.
