Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company is hiring a Manager, Cybersecurity - Application Security to lead and advance its application security program. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and improving security platforms and practices across development teams enterprise-wide.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in information technology and security, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a solid engineering background.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of information technology experience
• 5+ years in application development or application security
• Experience with OAuth or other application authentication methods
• In-depth knowledge of CI/CD best practices
• Development experience in Java, Python, Ruby, C++, or C#
• Excellent problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the application security team to meet strategic goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure software solutions.
• Evangelize application security fundamentals, tools and processes across the SDLC.
• Develop requirements and manage processes to ensure a world-class app sec program.
• Partner with other teams to advance operational security capabilities.
