Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a Senior-Level Cybersecurity Engineer to join the team on-site at NSWC Dahlgren, Virginia. The role requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and extensive DoD cybersecurity expertise for combat systems.

This individual will lead security engineering efforts and coordinate across groups to address evolving threats. The position emphasizes policy development, risk assessment, and MBSE-driven cybersecurity analyses, with a strong focus on DoD IA policies

Qualifications

• Five (5) years program specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical combat systems or ten (10) years general security engineering experience.
• Minimum certification as IAT Level II or higher per DoD 8570.01, or successor.
• Privileged users must have final adjudicated T-5/T-R with IT level-1 designation in JPAS and OS/CE training within six months.

Responsibilities

• Develop cybersecurity requirements, policy standards, and procedures for combat systems.
• Lead working groups to develop cybersecurity strategies against emerging threats.
• Perform cybersecurity system engineering design, analysis, and documentation for combat systems.
• Develop risk assessment analyses and mitigation plans for combat systems.
• Create MBSE models to support cybersecurity analysis.
