Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Engineer I to serve as a Cybersecurity and Data Protection Advisor within IA Services & Advisory. This onsite role in Andover, MA, will help secure Schneider Electric’s digital ecosystem by advising on cybersecurity and privacy requirements, supporting SDL practices, and strengthening incident response and security assurance across globally distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, Security, or related field.
• 3+ years of cybersecurity experience, preferably in software development or R&D.
• Hands-on SDL activities experience.
• Strong knowledge of IEC 62443 standards.
• Experience performing cybersecurity risk assessments and risk mitigation.
• Strong written and verbal communication across global teams.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity and data protection engagements for Schneider Electric digital assets, including apps, platforms, APIs, and digital offers.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify requirements and implement controls.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigations.
• Review security controls for alignment with standards.
• Support security certification and governance activities with proper evidence.
