Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Cybersecurity & Data Protection Advisor to strengthen the security and privacy posture of our digital assets across global teams. You will lead advisory efforts, guide Secure Development Lifecycle activities, and support certification and governance to ensure secure product releases.

You will collaborate with R&D, product, and engineering to embed security-by-design and privacy-by-design principles, and deliver security awareness across stakeholders worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably supporting software development or R&D environments.
• Hands-on experience supporting Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) activities.
• Strong knowledge of IEC 62443 cybersecurity standards.
• Experience conducting cybersecurity risk assessments and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
• Fluency in English and ability to engage global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity and data protection engagements for Schneider Electric digital assets, including software applications, platforms, APIs, and digital offers.
• Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to identify cybersecurity and privacy requirements and implement controls.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide mitigation recommendations.
• Review and evaluate security controls for alignment with standards.
• Support certification and governance activities with evidenced documentation.
