Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Cybersecurity Advisor to join the Digital Energy Software Cybersecurity Team in the United States. You will drive secure design practices, threat modeling, and risk management across R&D, coordinating cybersecurity initiatives for a portfolio of offers.

The role requires strong communication with customers and stakeholders, expertise in vulnerability management, and the ability to advance security standards across PC, cloud, and embedded architectures.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying secure development lifecycle practices to R&D teams.
• Demonstrated competence in vulnerability management and risk-based decision making.
• Proficiency at communicating appropriately to customers and business stakeholders.
• Technical background to understand PC, cloud, and embedded product architectures and networks.

Responsibilities

• Deploy Schneider’s SDL (Secure Development Lifecycle).
• Act as expert facilitator on secure design, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
• Serve as point of contact for cybersecurity issues for a portfolio of offers.
• Support product owners in specifying security requirements and regulatory alignment.
• Identify and communicate cybersecurity risks.
• Advise on security best practices for design, automation, and tool selection.
• Evaluate threats and vulnerabilities on offers.
• Lead and coordinate cybersecurity initiatives within the line of business.
• Develop new approaches to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support certifications for site, team, and offers.
• Build a network of internal and external cybersecurity experts for reviews and risk discussions.
