Job summary

Schneider Electric seeks a Cybersecurity & Data Protection Advisor to partner with product, engineering, and business teams to embed security and privacy throughout the lifecycle of digital offerings. You will strengthen resilience, conduct risk assessments, and support certification activities across globally distributed teams.

The role emphasizes Secure Development Lifecycle, threat modeling, and security governance, with fluency in English and strong communication across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Information Security or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of cybersecurity experience in software/R&D environments.
• Hands-on SDL activities and secure development exposure.
• Strong knowledge of IEC 62443 standards and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity and data protection engagements for digital assets and APIs.
• Partner with product/engineering teams to define and implement controls.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide mitigation recommendations.
• Review security controls for alignment with standards and governance.
• Support certification processes and ensure timely evidence delivery.
• Guide SDL across projects and integrate security-by-design principles.
