Job summary

Enstar is seeking a Cybersecurity Assurance Specialist to provide independent, technically informed assurance over Enstar's cybersecurity tools, controls and operational processes. The role plans and performs risk-based reviews to determine whether controls are appropriately designed, configured, implemented and operating effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and at least five years in relevant security roles.
• Experience evaluating control design and effectiveness through testing and data analysis.
• Experience producing assurance reports for technical teams and senior management.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CCSP, CCNA, PCNSE or AZ-500 are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver risk-based assurance reviews of cybersecurity tools, technical controls and operational processes.
• Define objective, scope, control criteria, evidence requirements, sampling approach and test procedures.
• Review architecture, configurations, inventories, dashboards, logs and exceptions to form evidence-based conclusions.
• Assess design and operating effectiveness, differentiating tool existence from protection achieved.
• Coordinate assurance activities with third-party staff.
• Present assurance results to technical teams and senior management; track findings through completion.
