Job summary

CI&T seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Architect & Operations Specialist to guide the evolution, optimization, and operational effectiveness of cybersecurity services for a US‑based organization. This role blends security architecture, security operations leadership, incident response, threat intelligence, and third‑party service management.

You will collaborate with executives and cross‑functional teams to ensure security technologies, providers, and processes align to protect the environment,

Qualifications

• Significant experience in cybersecurity, with a strong background in security architecture, security operations, or a combination of both.
• Proven experience leading cybersecurity initiatives, coordinating technical teams, and managing third‑party security service providers.
• Strong understanding of SOC operating models, including security monitoring, alert triage, investigation, and incident response processes.
• Hands‑on knowledge of security technologies and their integration, configuration, monitoring, and optimization (SIEM/EDR/cloud).

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity operations leadership, optimization, and incident response.
• Oversee security architecture, technology management, and integration across the environment.
• Coordinate third‑party security service providers and external vendors.
• Manage security incidents, escalation, containment, and post‑incident reviews.
• Drive security monitoring, detection engineering, and threat intelligence initiatives.
• Lead security projects, deployments, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Communicate security posture and risks to executive stakeholders.
• Explore AI/automation to enhance security operations while ensuring governance.
