Job summary

The company is seeking a senior cybersecurity and cyber intelligence practitioner who also leads operations, sets strategy, and manages people. You will shape cyber judgments, operating models, SOPs, and automation strategies while building a high-performing team and partnering with vendors and stakeholders.

The role combines senior individual-contributor depth with direct people-management accountability, with a hybrid work model based in San Francisco and relocation support for new hires.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cybersecurity, cyber intelligence, threat intel, incident response, security research, or related field
• 4+ years of leading teams
• Experience building/scaling cyber operations or abuse-prevention capabilities
• Strong cyber judgment and ability to reason about threats and abuse patterns
• Ability to translate strategy into execution with structured programs

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic direction for Cyber Operations and translate priorities into operating model, roadmaps, SOPs, escalation paths, and safety strategies
• Serve as senior cybersecurity and cyber intelligence expert for high-risk decisions across products and surfaces
• Build trust and align cross-functional teams, turning ambiguity into actionable plans and governance
• Develop and maintain reviewer programs, QA systems, escalation workflows, and vendor/BPO partnerships
• Own operational health: queue coverage, reviewer productivity, quality metrics, SLA adherence, and performance gaps
