Job summary

Talantir is seeking a senior Cyber Security Specialist to join our IT organization in a remote capacity. You will protect digital assets, ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability, and lead the response to security incidents across all departments.

You will monitor networks and systems, conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, implement security controls such as firewalls and encryption, and develop security policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity or related field.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ preferred.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security roles.
• Strong understanding of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor networks and systems for security breaches; identify and respond to threats.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Implement and maintain security protocols, firewalls, and encryption.
• Investigate security incidents and provide detailed reports with recommendations.
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
