Legence is seeking a Lead Cybersecurity Specialist to guide a team of cyber analysts and advance the company’s security posture. You will drive cloud security architecture, risk strategy, and cross‑functional initiatives across IT and business partners.

The role emphasizes DevSecOps, incident response, vulnerability management, and governance in support of enterprise systems and regulatory requirements. Remote work in the U.S. is available.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 5–10+ years in cybersecurity with progression into senior/lead roles.
• Deep expertise in cloud, network, and enterprise security architecture.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and encryption.
• Proven risk management, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation.
• Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, CIS frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Cloud Security & Architecture: govern secure cloud architectures across platforms.
• Develop and enforce security controls including identity management.
• Partner with engineering to embed security into DevOps (DevSecOps).
• Enterprise Risk Management: evolve risk program, assess threats, model risks.
• Translate risks into business impact for leadership.
• Security Engineering & Automation: build automation frameworks and tooling.
• Threat Detection & Incident Response: oversee monitoring and response processes.
• Vulnerability Management & Offensive Security: lead vuln lifecycle and testing.
• Governance, Compliance & Security Strategy: support audits and compliance initiatives.
• Leadership & Collaboration: mentor, align with stakeholders, stay ahead of threats.
