Old Dominion Freight Line seeks a Cybersecurity Architect to design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive security architecture across the enterprise. You will lead security strategy, governance, and alignment with business goals, guiding teams across IT, security, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Design secure IT environments and systems including network security, cloud architecture, IAM, and data protection.
• Architect and implement security controls for on-premises and cloud infrastructure with defense-in-depth.
• Conduct risk assessments of current and emerging technologies to meet security standards and policies.
• Develop and maintain a cybersecurity governance framework with policies and standards.
• Collaborate with leadership to define strategy, risk appetite, and incident response framework.
• Oversee integration of security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management) into IT architecture.
• Ensure compliance with NIST CSF, CCPA, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and industry regulations for logistics.
• Monitor threats and vulnerabilities; recommend proactive risk mitigation measures.
• Lead vulnerability assessments and pen-testing with internal and external teams.
• Establish robust vulnerability management to ensure timely remediation.
• Develop incident response plans and coordinate quick containment and resolution.
