Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Architect to lead the security design and governance of a DoD weapons system program. You will partner with cloud engineers, cybersecurity analysts and leadership to drive secure innovation and continuous improvement across on‑prem and cloud environments.

You will oversee ATO activities, enforce zero-trust and policy‑as‑code concepts, and ensure alignment with program goals while maintaining cybersecurity posture and accreditation readiness.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility or access.
• Extensive DoD cybersecurity experience and architecture leadership.
• Hands-on setup of enterprise security tooling and monitoring.
• Familiarity with RMF, risk management, and compliance processes.
• Strong ability to communicate across technical and leadership peers.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and governance of security across enterprise and cloud.
• Define and enforce cloud security policies and automation frameworks.
• Support ATO activities across multiple environments and classifications.
• Integrate security into CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Configure and monitor security tools; respond to threats and incidents.
• Collaborate with IT and program leadership to align security with mission goals.
