Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Architect to lead cybersecurity engineering and architecture for a DoD program. You will design governance and secure cloud solutions, aligning with DoD RMF and zero-trust principles to protect mission systems.

You will collaborate with cloud engineers and program leadership to drive continuous improvement, ensure ATO readiness, and scale security across on‑prem and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 10+ years of related experience (or equivalent).
• US Citizen with active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility.
• Proven cybersecurity engineering experience in DoD environments.
• Hands-on with enterprise tools: Splunk, HBSS/ESS, ACAS, SolarWinds.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement enterprise cybersecurity strategies aligned with DoD and Federal guidelines.
• Architect and secure cloud infrastructure; define and enforce security policies.
• Support ATO activities across environments at various classifications.
• Integrate security into CI/CD and DevSecOps workflows.
• Monitor vulnerabilities, respond to incidents, and improve security posture.
