Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is hiring a Cybersecurity Architect to design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive security architecture that protects our information systems and data. You will lead security strategy, guide technical solutions, and ensure effective controls across the enterprise to mitigate cyber risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 10+ years in cybersecurity with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience designing and implementing security architectures for enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS) and regulatory requirements.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or AWS Security – Specialty are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture strategy.
• Design secure IT environments including network security, cloud architecture, IAM, and data protection.
• Oversee security controls, risk assessments, and governance to align with business goals.
• Lead incident response, threat hunting, and vulnerability management efforts across the enterprise.
