Job summary

Tokio Marine HCC is seeking a Senior Underwriter to underwrite new and renewal Cyber and Tech E&O business with accountability for profitable growth and broker engagement. The role requires evaluating complex cyber exposures, delivering timely underwriting decisions, and partnering across functions to drive underwriting performance and service outcomes.

The Senior Underwriter acts as a trusted advisor to brokers and clients, leveraging knowledge of evolving cyber threats and market

Qualifications

• 4 Year Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meeting annual department goals for profitability, renewal retention, new business growth and rate increase.
• Evaluate risks for acceptability within established underwriting guidelines.
• Communicate indications, quotes, pricing rationale, coverage positions, and declinations to producers within company time frames.
• Develop, manage, and deepen broker relationships to drive submission flow and grow target distribution partners.
