Job summary

NewGen Technologies is seeking a Senior Cyber Triage Analyst to serve as a technical SME in threat intelligence within a federal-facing triage team. You will handle complex analyses, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with interagency partners to produce high-quality threat assessments.

Candidates should have 5–7 years in threat intel or cyber incident response, strong MITRE ATT&CK knowledge, and experience with SIEM and threat intel platforms.

Qualifications

• BS/tech degree or equivalent experience with preferred master’s degree.
• 5–7 years of progressive threat intel or cyber incident response background.
• Certifications such as CISSP, GCFA, GCRE, or similar are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced triage and analysis of high-severity cyber threat intelligence.
• Serve as escalation point for complex threat assessments.
• Enrich IOC data using classified and unclassified sources.
• Coordinate with federal agencies and interagency partners on joint analyses.
• Mentor mid-level and junior triage analysts and develop playbooks.
