Job summary

Nightwing is seeking a JCDC TFAN Lead to oversee the operational execution of the triage function, managing a team of analysts responsible for rapid assessment and routing of cyber threat intelligence. You will coordinate with interagency partners and critical infrastructure stakeholders to ensure timely threat response.

The role requires 10+ years in cybersecurity operations, 3+ years in leadership, and strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, NIST/SANS; excellent communication and ability to work

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of cybersecurity operations, threat intelligence, or SOC experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory or team lead experience.
• Experience coordinating with federal agencies and interagency partners.
• Strong knowledge of incident response frameworks (NIST, SANS).
• Experience with MITRE ATT&CK.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to brief senior leadership.
• Ability to work across physical locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 10-15 cyber triage analysts.
• Establish SOPs for ticket intake, triage, and escalation processes.
• Coordinate with CISA divisions, FBI, NSA, and other interagency partners.
• Oversee quality assurance of triage assessments and analyst recommendations.
• Conduct daily operational briefings and provide situational awareness to JCDC leadership.
• Manage team training programs and professional development initiatives.
• Serve as escalation point for complex or sensitive threat intelligence.
• Develop and maintain metrics dashboards tracking triage team performance and threat trends.
• Participate in strategic planning for JCDC triage capability enhancement.
• Foster relationships with sector-specific ISACs and private sector partners.
