Job summary

ECS is seeking a Cyber Hunt Senior Analyst to lead threat hunting, CTI, and SOC activities in a large federal program. You will drive threat detection, analytics, and adversary emulation across a national level IT enterprise.

Responsibilities include developing detection frameworks, mentoring analysts, and coordinating with interagency partners to strengthen the agency's cyber posture and resilience.

Qualifications

• Over 12 years in cybersecurity with focus on threat hunting, detection engineering and adversary analysis.
• Experience with threat intelligence sharing and federal environments.
• Ability to translate technical findings into actionable guidance for executives.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for threat hunting, CTI and SOC across the program.
• Lead threat modeling, adversary emulation and purple team exercises.
• Map techniques to MITRE ATT&CK to improve detection narratives.
• Develop detection engineering strategies and analytic playbooks.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team knowledge repositories.
• Collaborate with interagency teams on intelligence sharing and defense.
