Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to identify, analyze, and communicate threats impacting our organization, employees, systems, data, and operations.

The role blends traditional threat intelligence with hands-on cybersecurity, enabling intelligence to drive detections, investigations, vulnerability prioritization, and defensive security improvements. Strong technical aptitude and experience with SIEM/XDR are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, SOC, IR, or related work.
• Strong understanding of threat intelligence principles and lifecycle.
• Hands-on with security data, not just reports.
• Knowledge of SIEM/XDR, EDR, networks, Windows/Linux, cloud/security.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and TTPs.
• Ability to analyze indicators like domains, IPs, hashes, URLs, processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze cyber threat intelligence from multiple sources.
• Identify threat actors, campaigns, malware, vulnerabilities, and TTPs.
• Develop assessments for strategic, operational, and tactical threats.
• Maintain threat actor profiles, IOCs, TTPs, and requirements.
• Analyze threats using MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain.
• Produce executive and technical threat reports, alerts, and briefings.
• Track threats targeting industry, tech stack, supply chain, and operations.
• Translate intelligence into detections and security controls.
• Assist with IOC ingestion, enrichment, and alerting rules.
