Job summary

AV is seeking a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to identify, analyze, and communicate cyber threats affecting the organization. The role blends traditional threat intelligence with strong technical cybersecurity to drive actionable detections, investigations, and defense improvements.

You will work across cyber threat intel, vulnerability prioritization, and incident support in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in cybersecurity, threat intel, and hands-on security data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in cybersecurity/IT/CS.
• 3+ years of cybersecurity, threat intelligence, SOC, IR, or related experience.
• Strong understanding of threat intelligence principles and lifecycle processes.
• Technical aptitude to investigate security data beyond reports.
• Experience with SIEM/XDR, EDR, network security, cloud/SaaS security.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze cyber threat intelligence from commercial, government, open-source, and internal sources.
• Identify emerging threat actors, campaigns, malware, vulnerabilities, and TTPs relevant to the organization.
• Develop intelligence assessments covering strategic, operational, and tactical threats.
• Maintain threat actor profiles, IOCs, TTPs, and intelligence requirements.
• Translate intelligence into detections, investigations, and defensive security improvements.
• Work with SOC and security engineering to turn intelligence into actionable detections.
