Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to identify, analyze, and communicate cyber threats affecting the organization. The role blends traditional threat intelligence with hands-on security data analysis across SIEM/XDR, EDR, and cloud environments.

The analyst will develop intelligence assessments, drive detections, and support incident response by enriching alerts with tactical and strategic insights. Collaboration with SOC and security engineers is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, Intelligence Studies, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in cybersecurity, threat intel, SOC, IR, or threat hunting.
• Strong understanding of threat intel principles and lifecycle processes.
• Hands-on with security data beyond intel reports.
• Working knowledge of SIEM/XDR, EDR, cloud, identity, vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze cyber threat intel from multiple sources; develop assessments of threats, actors, and TTPs.
• Analyze endpoint, network, identity, cloud, and telemetry data to validate intel; use SIEM/XDR to investigate IOCs and activity.
• Develop searches in KQL, XQL, SPL to support threat hunting and detections.
• Collaborate with SOC and engineering to translate intel into detections and controls.
• Support vulnerability prioritization and incident response with intel findings.
