Job summary

AV is seeking a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to identify, analyze, and communicate cyber threats impacting the organization’s employees, systems, data, and operations. The role blends traditional threat intelligence with hands-on security aptitude to produce actionable detections, investigations, and vulnerability prioritization.

You will work with SIEM/XDR, EDR, and cloud security, translating intelligence into defensive measures and coordinating with SOC and security teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of cybersecurity, threat intel, SOC, IR, or threat hunting.
• Strong understanding of threat intelligence principles and lifecycle.
• Technical aptitude to investigate security data beyond reports.
• Working knowledge of SIEM/XDR, EDR, networks, Windows/Linux, IAM, cloud security.
• Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK and adversary TTPs.
• Ability to analyze domains, IPs, hashes, URLs, processes, and network activity.
• Ability to communicate complex threats to technical and executive audiences.
• Strong analytical, research, documentation, and critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze cyber threat intel from multiple sources.
• Identify threat actors, campaigns, TTPs, and vulnerabilities relevant to the org.
• Develop intelligence assessments at strategic, operational, and tactical levels.
• Maintain threat actor profiles, IOCs, and intelligence requirements.
• Produce executive and technical threat reports and briefings.
• Translate intelligence into actionable detections and security controls.
• Collaborate with SOC and security engineering teams on detections.
• Support incident response with enriched threat intelligence.
