Signature Federal Systems, LLC is seeking a Cyber Threat Hunter in McLean, VA to proactively detect, investigate, and mitigate threats within a large enterprise. The role emphasizes hypothesis-based threat hunting (HMM-4) and the Mitre ATT&CK framework, collaborating with endpoint, network, threat intel, cloud, and data science experts to identify and respond to emerging threats.

Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI clearance with a full scope polygraph.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years as a cyber security analyst or related role; 4-6 years preferred.
• Experience with hypothesis-based hunting (HMM-4) and Mitre ATT&CK.
• Strong proficiency with SIEM, EDR, and network traffic analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct proactive threat hunting using HMM-4 and Mitre ATT&CK.
• Develop hypotheses for targeted threat hunts from threat intel and data.
• Collaborate with teams to collect and analyze security events from logs, alerts, and telemetry.
• Identify IOCs and anomalies using cutting-edge tools and techniques.
• Analyze threats, assess impact, and recommend remediation and response.
