Job summary

Agile Defense, Inc. in Springfield, VA, is seeking a Cyber Hunt Analyst III to proactively hunt threats and support incident response across enterprise networks, endpoints, cloud environments, and information systems.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in cybersecurity, with 2–3 years in threat hunting or related fields, and can translate findings into detection engineering improvements. A Top Secret/SCI clearance is required to start.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of progressively responsible cybersecurity experience, including 2–3 years in threat hunting, incident response, security monitoring, digital forensics, or detection engineering.
• Ability to translate investigative findings into detection engineering improvements and actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, investigate, and analyze sophisticated cyber threats across enterprise networks, endpoints, cloud environments, and information systems.
• Conduct hypothesis-driven threat hunts and analyze security telemetry to identify adversary TTPs.
• Apply advanced knowledge of threat actor behavior, forensics, network security, EDR, and SIEM to uncover malicious activity.
• Support complex incident response investigations and collaborate with SOC personnel and threat hunters.
