Job summary

B4Corp is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst in McLean, VA, requiring TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph. You will proactively hunt threats using HMM-4 and MITRE ATT&CK, collaborating with cross-functional teams to detect, investigate, and mitigate security threats across large enterprise environments.

Responsibilities include developing hypotheses, analyzing security data, and providing remediation guidance. Candidates should have 3+ years of relevant experience and relevant certifications;

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a cyber security analyst, incident responder, or related cyber security discipline. 4-6 years of experience desired.
• Proficiency in hypothesis-based hunting (HMM-4), the Mitre ATT&CK matrix, and mapping adversary TTPs to observed activities.
• Hands-on proficiency with SIEM platforms, EDR solutions, network traffic analysis tools, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Analytical and communication skills; ability to translate findings for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., GCIH, CTIA, or CThH) and knowledge of network protocols and endpoint security.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive threat hunting using the HMM-4 approach and Mitre ATT&CK framework.
• Develop hypotheses for targeted hunts based on threat intel, internal data, and analysis of TTPs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to collect and analyze security event data from logs, network traffic, and endpoints.
• Utilize cutting-edge tools to identify indicators of compromise (IOCs) and anomalies.
• Perform in-depth threat analysis, assess impact, and recommend mitigation and response strategies.
• Document objectives and progress; produce detailed reports with root cause analysis and remediation recommendations.
• Stay up to date with the latest cyber threats and technologies through continuous learning.
