Job summary

You will proactively analyze telemetry to identify indicators of compromise and adversary activity, mentor junior analysts, translate findings into measurable improvements, and develop reusable hunt playbooks for detection engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field
• Minimum six (6) years of relevant experience
• Hands-on threat hunting and advanced cyber analysis experience
• Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and adversary TTPs
• Experience mentoring analysts and leading complex analytical efforts
• Current DoD 8570 IAT II or IAM II certification is required
• DoD or IC environment experience
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph eligibility

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, hypothesis-driven threat hunts across enterprise data sources and enclaves
• Proactively analyze security telemetry to identify indicators of compromise and adversary activity
• Assess and correlate data from network, endpoint, identity, SIEM, threat intel, vulnerabilities
• Document hunt activity and support incident response when activity is identified
• Provide findings and trends for SOC reporting and defensive awareness
• Develop and prioritize hunt campaigns based on threat intelligence and risk
• Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on hunt methodology
• Translate hunt findings into actionable requirements for detection engineering and incident response
• Develop reusable hunt playbooks, queries, and training materials
• Support exercises and threat-analysis proficiency assessments
