Job summary

Invictus International Consulting, LLC seeks a Cybersecurity Threat Analyst Subject Matter Expert IV to lead proactive threat hunting within the SOC and shape the hunt lifecycle. You will guide advanced campaigns, analyze adversary TTPs, and translate findings into concrete defensive improvements.

The role requires a TS/SCI with CI poly clearance, 8+ years of relevant experience, and a deep hands-on background in cyber defense and MITRE ATT&CK mappings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; 4 years may substitute for degree
• Eight years of relevant experience beyond education
• Expert-level hands-on threat hunting and adversary analysis
• Experience leading complex hunt campaigns and translating findings into defenses
• Current DoD 8570 IAT II or IAM II certification
• TS/SCI clearance with ability to polygraph

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical authority for proactive threat hunting within the SOC
• Lead development of SOC threat-hunting methodology and lifecycle
• Proactively hunt across network, endpoints, SIEM, and telemetry for indicators of compromise
• Develop and direct advanced hunt campaigns informed by threat intel and adversary TTPs
• Assess models to distinguish adversary behavior from benign activity
• Mentor threat analysts and provide leadership for trainings and exercises
• Ensure hunt findings transition to incident response and engineering with actionable guidance
• Contribute to daily/weekly SOC reporting and threat assessments
• Create reusable hunt playbooks and ATT&CK mappings
