Northrop Grumman Space Systems, Boulder, CO, is seeking a Staff Cyber Systems Engineer – Level 5 to lead cyber enablement within an IRAD team. You will develop and execute cyber technical products, ensuring a secure environment and robust deliverables for mission systems.

You will partner with systems, software, and mission teams, translate needs into actionable artifacts, and communicate risks and recommendations to engineering leadership in a fast-paced setting. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 12 years of related experience, or Master’s STEM with 10 years, or 8 years with a PhD.
• Experience implementing cybersecurity controls in software development.
• Ability to decompose cybersecurity requirements into actionable tasks.
• Experience generating cybersecurity body of evidence and associated artifacts.
• Familiar with: SP 800-218, SP 800-190, SP 800-53, ZTA, POA&M development, SCTM development.
• Experience in Agile methodologies.
• Experience with use of DevOps tools such as Jira, BitBucket, Confluence.
• Ability and willingness to travel 25% to support business needs.
• Active U.S. Government issued Secret or higher security clearance at the time of application (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).

• Main author of program Cyber Body of Evidence (BOE) which is a customer deliverable.
• Provide regular status updates and flag blockers to upper leadership to drive timely resolution.
• Translate mission needs and technical objectives into clear artifacts.
• Partner with systems, software, and mission teams to align models to evolving technical direction.
• Effective communication and organization skills to clearly communicate technical insights, assumptions, risks, and recommendations to engineering teams and leadership.
• Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analysis for total systems.
