Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal/Senior Principal Cyber Systems Engineer to join our Specialty Engineering Team in Woodland Hills, CA. You will perform Cybersecurity tasks to implement RMF, select and tailor security controls, and collaborate with Agile development teams to meet government standards.

The role requires US citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance, with a fully onsite tenure and a focus on secure systems engineering across DoD frameworks and NIST guidelines.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of relevant experience; Master’s degree plus 3 years; PhD. plus 1
• Must possess DOD 8570 IAT Level II or greater (e.g. Security+)
• Demonstrated experience in governance, risk, and compliance, and Implementation and assessment of security controls.
• Working knowledge of: DoD 8500.01, DoD 8510.01, NIST 800-37, 800-53, 800-171; DISA STIGs; SSPs; POAMs; Remediation Planning; Security Assessments; Auditing; Cloud Security; SecDevOps; SAST
• U.S. citizenship is required; ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance is required.

Aufgaben

• Understand DoD systems engineering practices and IT infrastructure management/monitoring
• Document technical requirements and procedures; participate in team reviews prior to deployment
• Recommend and implement system enhancements for performance, reliability, and security
• Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of per internal security policies
• Provide security assessments to ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-53 and DoD RMF
• Serve as ISSO supporting high-level technical and practical expertise
