Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Cyber Systems Engineer to support information systems design, operation, and security at Eglin AFB, FL. The role requires on-site work, a current Top Secret/SCI clearance, and SAP eligibility.

You will lead lab infrastructure, VM and network security tasks, and support avionics integration and simulations. The position demands Windows Server/VMware expertise, Active Directory, and experience with security tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering, or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering.
Current in-scope U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI security clearance with an investigation completed within the last 6 years or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation; clearance maintained as a condition of employment.
Must obtain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance before start date; maintained as a condition of employment.
Current IAM Level II certification (8140) required; maintained as a condition of employment.
Experience managing Windows Server/Desktops with Microsoft Configuration Management (MCM) and PowerShell; strong VMware expertise.
Experience managing Active Directory Infrastructure.
Web App Administration: Atlassian, Coverity, Fortify; performance issue resolution.
Knowledge of security tools: Splunk, Nessus, SolarWinds; incident response.

Responsibilities

Perform Lab Infrastructure Design, Deployment, Configuration, and Management.
Lead and oversee desktop virtualization and host system administration.
Perform Network & Security functions to operate multiple Software Development environments at various classification levels.
Design and implement software and automation tools for development teams and maintenance.
Configure and run hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) testing and simulations.
Integrate avionics systems into test environments and ensure performance.
Develop aircraft simulations reflecting operational scenarios.
Set up and operate Test Stations (MSITS, VSITS) for system testing.
Implement and manage cyber networking solutions for secure communication between test systems.
Document test procedures, results, and best practices for assurance and compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve integration issues.
