Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks Principal Cyber Systems Engineers to support information systems, network design, operation, and security at Edwards AFB, CA. On-site, full-time work with 10% travel. Will lead lab infrastructure, virtualization, and cyber integration across multiple test environments.

Requires Secret clearance or continuous evaluation, SAP eligibility, and IAM Level II certification. Strong Windows/VMware, AD, and security tool experience essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years experience or Master's with 3+ years.
• Current in-scope U.S. Government Secret clearance or Continuous Evaluation.
• Must obtain SAP clearance before start; maintain SAP clearance.
• Must have IAM Level II (8140) certification maintained.
• Experience managing Windows Server/Desktops, MCM, and PowerShell; VMware expertise.
• Experience with Active Directory infrastructure.
• Web App Administration: Atlassian, Coverity, Fortify.
• Experience with Splunk, Nessus, SolarWinds monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Perform lab infrastructure design, deployment, configuration, and management.
• Lead desktop virtualization and host system administration.
• Execute network & security tasks for multiple development environments.
• Design and implement software tools to aid development and maintenance.
• Configure hardware-in-the-loop testing and simulations.
• Integrate avionics systems into test environments for compatibility.
• Develop and maintain aircraft simulations reflecting operational scenarios.
• Set up test stations (MSITS, VSITS) for comprehensive testing.
• Implement and manage cyber networking for secure test communications.
• Document procedures, results, and best practices for compliance.
